There are actually various physical activities you can try to reduce anxiety levels, for example; controlling your breathing when you're feeling anxious.
If you're anxious you can try breathing deep and calm, this will help you relax, try it whenever you're not socializing but in a social situation and you're feeling anxious, for example being in a bus used to make me anxious and I would try this exercise.
Another thing you can try is eating a healthy diet that helps your brain function. For example Omega 3 which is found in fish oil helps brain function and it helps you be more alert and aware of what's going on around you.
Physical and muscular exercising if great too, if you feel good about your body you will have one less factor to be self conscious about, try it. I actually want to add a section on exercising to Social Success Mastery.
In the end it all comes down to feeling good about yourself both physically and mentally, all of this helps you feel more confident and perform better in social situations.
